I was talking to a friend the other day that knows I do wood working as a hobby and we got on the subject of the metric system. Needless to say we had been drinking and I fully took advantage and told him that I had a metric watch.
He laughed and said there is no such thing and bet me a scotch over it. I took a good 30 minutes (or 762 "metric minutes") to prove that I was right. I then SHOWED him my watch and he had a sad and dejected face, looked at the bartender and said, "2 double scotches please". It took everything I had to contain myself.
For those who don't know, the below pic is of a Pebble watch face which connects to my iPhone and there are all sorts of neat things it can do. I did their kick start back in April of 2012. Fun little gadget... And a funny story.
By the way, I still haven't told him the truth!!
