FOG lagging very much last 3 days

I have the same issue. Thought it was my 300 baud dial up modem, but I am glad to hear it's not just me. Seems like it's speeding up, it is still a little sluggish.

Alex,

I thought you meant that the level of posts (in quantity and quality) were "lacking".

;)

PS What a shame that Festool and Kapex (and many others) are not in the dictionary database.

Yep - now goes faster than my tool money on the ReCon sale...

[eek]

Zipping right along for me today.  [thumbs up]

It seems better now than yesterday.  More intermittent, so it drives me a little crazier not knowing what to expect  ???

Thanks for all of the updates and feedback, guys.

In short, I didn't make any changes per se. I did take steps to diagnose the server to make sure there were no issues in respect to the operation of the server, including to make sure there were no vulnerabilities. I found nothing out of the normal.

I contacted the hosting provider and made them aware of the issue. Their initial response was that they were not aware of any issues. I suspect that the problem was with the hosting provider or their infrastructure.

Feel free to contact me if you notice future problems. Sorry for the slow downs over the previous days.

Shane

That sure sounds familiar. Every time we contact our service provider about an issue the problem goes away within a few hours, and they respond that they could find nothing wrong on their end.  [smile]

Ha, yeah pretty magical how that happens.  [tongue]

When I worked for the local phone company (back in the Dark Ages when there was a REAL phone company), the comment was, "The trouble's leaving here just fine."

That sounds like BT...

I have had huge problems at The New Brit Workshop and each time you talk to a call centre (not in the UK) and have to start from scratch each time. We are on our third visit of an engineer (to get one of those you have to win the lottery of the call centre). The last guy levelled with me and said that the problem was at the exchange but even he had to impress someone to get it looked at. In the end he went there himself and it now (fingers crossed) is fine.

The FOG bounced back into normal health for a while but it is slowing up again - it could be the recent thread I started  [unsure]

Poor old Shane.

I know I am still on Windows 7 but,,,

It is grinding to a halt at times again. When I found this thread I had to click on the "2" to go to the second page - that took over a minute to load.

Shane,

With regret, it is my sad duty to report that the problem has resurfaced.  Slowwwww!

Timed a reply button push and it took 15 seconds for the system to get to this reply page.

"Waiting for Festoolownersgroup.com" is becoming an ordeal on Firefox.

Here's hoping you can resolve the issue!

Cheers,

Frank
