For the car guys...

Of course all in all, who am I to judge?  I've never driven any of these incredible machines.

Same here, but it's fun to think about

lol...  ::)

my cubicle (from a parallel universe when I used to wear a suit and tie) was plastered with magazine tearouts --

Cubical?

I wish I had that luxury these days.

This is what my kitchen table currently looks like.  [scared] Ya'd think that without being able to eat, I could hold my girlish figure....but alas, no!

haha.. I know what you mean Rick...in the last year my dining room table has been used as a workbench about 363 days and for actually eating food about twice! Although...I my laser engraver and 3d printer are both in my "dining room" at the moment so that might have something to do with it...

The only thing that confuses me about the contents of your table is, what are the ski goggles for?  Which Canon is that?  an xl2?

No wheels on this one.  Just some epic rock with giant robots to start the day.  Let's do this.

Speakers up!

Though, truth be told, as fun as sliding and smoking up tires is... I would've much more appreciated a video dedicated to a pure attack on time.  The F40 and F50 are literally road-going Formula cars.  "Hooning" as the kids call it nowadays... not really on the design agenda, I don't think  ;)

Hope ya'll had an awesome weekend!!  World Touring Car Championship / US Touring Car Championship was awesomeeeee!!!  While I sort my photos... Let’s start the day off with the BlackTrax S2000 ‘IRENE’, as piloted by Graham Downey who made the fastest lap time at the Time Attack Demo with a blistering 1:56.934 around the FIA WTCC configuration at Sonoma Raceway!

Here's an interesting battle between Prima Racing Honda S2000 as prepared by BlackTrax Performance, versus, Life's Good Racing Chevy Camaro, through a field of BMW M3's, from US Touring Car Championship GT Class, Sept. 7th 2013 at Sonoma Raceway

Here is our WTCC/USTCC photo album from Sunday!

And for you time attack guys... here's "Irene", BlackTrax's record setting Honda S2000 --

No wheels here... but too cool a clip not to share
(hey that rhymes!  sort of?)

I'll first acknowledge my ignorance towards both Koenigsegg and SSC; frankly, I know very little of both, except for the obvious that they are incredibly fast.

Here's some stuff on Koenigsegg you may enjoy

Search the brand at youtube and there's a bunch more

Very good stuff Paul.  And I think I may have spotted why you love Koenigsegg so much -- as evident at 4:26 in the factory tour of your first clip.  Take another peek and let me know if you see what I see.  Pay close attention to the goodies on the right hiding in the back... and of course the gorgeous banner on the wall  ;)

I did always appreciate the phantom insignia, bearing honor and tribute to the First Squadron of the Swedish Air Force.

I'll add to Tour de Koenigsegg with...

Nice clips and good eye on the timestamp, hadn't noticed that before lol.

I actually was looking specifically for Festool in the videos  ;)

I can't vouch for the rest of the world, though in all probability it is probably so -- all authorized Koenigsegg Service Centers in China MUST use Festool Automotive System for paint and body repair.  It's part of the agreement between Koenigsegg and the Service Centers as a way to guarantee exceptional quality of workmanship.

Little bit of trivia knowledge I picked up while I visited TTS CN for Automotive Systems Training last year :)
