Birddoc is flying again!

Last season, an essentially stock 13 Shelby running in the high 9s, 136-140 mph.

2013 Shelby GT500

Over the winter a complete engine rebuild, including the addition a 4.2 Kenne Bell supercharger.

First dyno run with new engine:

Over 1200 RWHP

First run of the 2014 season at Maryland International Raceway (last Friday):

8.95 @ 161 MPH !

That Ferrari F12 looks pretty nice, and affordable too. If you leave off some of the options you might get one for under $500,000. Better hurry though, they only plan on making 7000 per year.  [smile]

Sorry haven't been posting as much as I used to.  So swamped at the shop it's unbelievable.  Not that I'm complaining  :

As always, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow.  The video gets more and more... um... exciting.  Enjoy!

I think Aston Martins are beautiful cars, but a new one in Oz is just insane money (as is a new Ferrari). Anyway, my fav AM would be a DB5.

Sadly I look at cars these days and tend to see the last idiot that was driving that marque!
