I never thought to correlate the request to take a picture of our track saw with the tool giveaway being a track saw accessory, but it makes perfect sense. That's brilliant!

I was thinking it was going to be more along the lines of some kind of trinket - like a little pocket tape measure or something like that.

I am indeed now dyin' to see what this is, and also what it has spawned. 

I assume anything you do, especially as a Festool retailer, cannot simply be your own version of an accessory of something Festool themselves already make.

And with Peter Parfitt innocently treading into this thread, it makes me think that maybe he's involved somehow....hmmmm.... ah!  I'm just reading too much into this.

Lee Valley has a number of metric display models that are of no real use to anyone now that Festool NA has switched to imperial.

Since no one wants a metric tool, Rob is trying his best to give them away.

You can take that to the bank.
