Had any luck sharpening your Festool Blades?

I have had no bad or mediocre results from Forrest and have sent them many different brands of blades.  The ts55 blades always cut at least as good as when new as have all the others.  I guess no one is totally exempt from having a bad day and for a small fee Forrrest will perform a test cut with the blade if you so desire.

In an earlier post to this topic I failed to mention my sharpening service does an excellent job with the blades of my several Kapex.

They do perform test cuts when they consider those necessary, without additional charge. They report those results. Also they recognize that often a sharpened bit/cutter/blade might not be used for months. They assure me that even if the blade had been in my inventory for a long time if I say I am not satisfied with the performance they will re-sharpen it without protest or charge.

Never in all the years they have been doing my sharpening have I needed to have them perform a "make-good" re-grind.

My standard practice is to buy at least two copies of every bit/cutter/blade. At the same time I order a style new to me I provide my sharpening service the specs along with the next batch of dull blades. If they have any doubt about the settings on their CNC grinders, they let me know ASAP. Usually that is before I have received the new blades. The sharpening service then borrows a factory-new blade from me which they measure while I am using another copy. Thus when the time comes to sharpen my blade for the first time they already have all the data needed in their data base.

i just got 6 blades sharpened and they where 24t £5.25 ha 2 of those  18t £4.75 2 of those  64t £8.25  36t  £5.25 all these prices are +vat 20%

also bought 48t for my ts75 for £27.50 good quality blade by stehle.

i see not diffrance  in cut when sharpened, I dont understand why people think a sharpened blade is not as good as a new 1, because how do they think the new 1 got sharp in the first place? magic?

It depends on the sharpening method.
I took my blades to a reg carbide shop that said they sharpened saw blades.

They came out ok. Cut good and all.

Then I took to reg blade sharpening serive and they came out great.

There was a difference in how they cut.

There are some machine shops that will sharpen saw blades.

There are other places that specialized saw blades sharpening services.

well i use a dedicated sharpener that uses a cnc sharpener
