Hammer-Drill vs Drill

When there is noise in electrical lines one cannot get rid of it.
When it is a phone line or a data line it can be pretty hard to find it.
Ideally it would be the opposite.

It would be interesting to know whether other tools for it can find the line now that know where it is ??

Had the same thought. I'm trying to source different wall scanners as I definitely want to test it myself. Maybe I'll do a video once the selection is complete.

Kind regards,
Oliver

I'd like that too, this scanner issue could be a big deal for a lot of people.

On a different yet similar note, there is a free local service that contractors & individual homeowners must call when they are going to be digging/trenching in the ground, it's called Gopher State One Call. A person notifies Gopher One and Gopher One then notifies all the utility companies and it's their responsibility to mark every utility line on the property.

The thing that I noticed is that the different utility people used different scanners/tracers/locators. The phone line locator was different than the cable locater which was different than the electrical locator which was different than the gas locator. I wonder if that's part of the reason why the typical all-in-one scanner does such a poor job in accurately locating items hidden in the wall?
