Have I've gone 'round the bend?

Festool 1400            Love it.
Dewalt DW622K      Great all rounder with good micro adjustment.
Bosch palm router  For when I only have one door to hang!!
Triton table mouted (Soon to be replaced with a 2200 because it seems to vibrate a bit and is getting old)
Trend T5                  gathering dust where it belongs.

Festool 1010
Festool 1400
Porter-Cable 7518 (table-mounted, motor only)
Bosch Colt

The 2200 sounds sweet, but it's hard to justify the cost when I really have everything I need.

Famous last words [big grin]! I have found myself saying this all too often and then...

OF1010
OF2200
Milwaukee 3 1/2 for router table
DeWalt 621

I would love to get a 700 at some point, but the 1010 and 2200 see 90% of my hand-held router use nowadays.

OF1010, OF1400 (gets most of the use),OF2200, PC7518, Bosch Colt, Foredom carver with Ng base, Dremel with StewMac base, PC 690 and probably a couple more.

If anyone chose to make a small plunge router with good visibility I would have one more.

Veritas medium and small router planes if they count - and they should - perform much better than most routers.

The problem here is classification ... unless it says "router" on the unit, don't admit to anything.

If it really concerns you, stick a label on each an write the date you last used it - then review in a year.

Further, if you have an "old faithful" or two and they're hardly worth the effort to sell - why not keep them??

On Dremels ... I think I've got four and a "no name" thing lying about too [embarassed] but then, they're different sizes and one is cordless (does anyone own just one screw driver?)

There's something you need to keep in the back of your mind too ....
