Help to perfect fit for dogs on homemade MFT top

Hole diameters in official MFT tops also vary, and holes sizes change slightly with the seasons and with use, getting a little larger. Very small differences but significant when using go/no go dogs. After some use with the Parf dogs (in the same holes) you might find that the Super Dogs fit better.

Guess I could use my wood lathe to chuck up the UJK dogs and reduce the diameter a bit. But, again, am I correcting the right thing?

That'd be the direction I'd take. You're only removing .0015" material from each side so some 150 grit and then some 400 grit emery cloth will probably work well, unless the dogs are hard-coat anodized.  [tongue]

They are stainless. Might resort to this but few have said the holes will become looser over time.
