I think all the track saw rails should come with the holes for the LR 32 system. It would be very handy that way.

Agreed.

It would also make more sense to me to have the holes in all the rails in the way Festool is supposed to be a system. Where all parts and tools of the system work together.

It doesn't seem very 'system like' to have two versions of the same thing where the first version can be used to do fewer things then the second version, but adding this functionality to the first would also have no negative impact on how the first functions.

I wish the rail that comes with the TS had LR32 holes or better yet all rails had holes like the others have mentioned.  I did not know about the LR32 and did not join FOG until after my Festool journey began.  Now when I buy the LR32 I will need to spring for a new rails which is money I could put toward the VAC SYS I used at the roadshow.

Great idea. Why make two separate models when one holey rail will answer both needs.

I do not want holes in all my rails personally I will just use a 1400 for the LR32 system if and when I get it. I have the MFS which Can be used to extend the Holely rail to any length I need.

Probably because the holy rails are more expensive and the perks you folks enjoy are not repeated around the world. Here in NZ a 1400 holy rail is an extra $70 or so, and the 2424 holy rail is $826.

It would be nice though.

5m holy rail anyone?

A employee of a Festool dealer told me that they make most of their money on the accessories , so Festool will probably stay with the way it is.

Wow...

Yep, ToolNut.com swapped mine too. In the US the two 55" rails are the same price, so yea it makes no sense not to go with the holey rail.
