How to register your tools online (US/Canada)

The tool registration system is primarily for warranty registration. So, old ex-dealers are not in there.

Hafele is not a dealer.

Festool's primary use is warranty registration.

But, you have set it up so that people such as me can use it to keep track of their tools and to shortcut the process when we send them in for repair, so allowing us to enter the original dealer name somewhere would be of use to us.

It's good that Hafele is no longer a dealer.  With the notable exception of Marc St Pierre, I never found anyone at Hafele who knew or cared about the Festool product line.

OK Shane, I found a way to accomplish what I want by typing a note with the dealer name in the comments field that you provided in the on-line form.

I've made the request for the new tools to be added.  They should be there later this week.

[member=47173]Brent Shively[/member] The Festool registration website is still NOT showing an option for the PDC Drill/Driver Set #564597.

Currently the PDC set is up on the registration page. It must have been updated over the weekend or first thing this morning.

The page
https://www.festoolusa.com/account/tools/register/
Is attempting to load from mixed protocol for JS content.
You should fix this as it will block Chrome and other smart browsers from loading the content.
This is also a security vulnerability.
Also, why even bother loading it from a 3rd party site, host it locally and avoid someone else security shortcomings.

Error below

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.festoolusa.com/account/tools/register/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.min.js'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

When you buy festool at Lee Valley (Canada) they told me my tools are automatically registered.  Is this the case?

Probably so, but it might be worth the while to register online just in case there is an oops.
