This isn't a jig, or an invention, or an enhancement. You don't have to do anything fancy besides clamp a piece of wood on. But it's a killer app for an already great tool.
I installed two counter bolts last week, and I had been using the domino to throw a few big tenons to register the edges of two pieces of a bartop. I drilled the two end holes for the counter bolts with a 35mm zobo bit, and used the domino to cut the center channel for the bolt by clamping a straight chunk of wood 10mm from the centerline. Of course the domino chopped a clean edged trench at exactly the correct depth in well under a minute. I was very pleased with the clean result. Much faster than setting up a router jig.
