Another question for the FOG experts. In addition finishing off the dry wall around my suns sliding window, he had new windows installed. We also need to finish the inside of the windows. I've looked at several videos on this topic. He wishes to finish the windows with wood trim. He wishes to finish the windows with wood moulding and a stool with an apron below the stool. It appears from the videos I've seen, the the approach would be to build a "box" that fits in the opening of the window, to which the moulding is attached. The moulding will be painted. Two questions:
1) is this approach the right way or best way to do this?
2) As this will be painted, use pine? poplar? or?
Thanks again in advance
