I have been using a mixture of the Jet Stream sanding pads and abrasives and the newer Multi-Jet Stream. My supply of abrasives in general was getting towards the low side and I needed to buy a couple new pads so I decided to convert to all Multi-Jet Stream. When I was using the mix 'n' match it was hard to pay attention to whether or not there was a difference. But with all one type it was easy. And the difference is noticeable. The DC was very good with the Jet Stream but it is even better with the Multi. And I think some of this can be attributed to the new pads as well. There are design differences other than the number of DC holes.
I definitely think the DC is better. An additional benefit is that I was able to reduce the suction power even more than my normal settings. Which allowed for a better sander "float". Very nice especially when using the soft and super soft pads. The abrasives seemed to stay cleaner and the dust residue that was left on them was more evenly distributed.

The central air ports (the ones where the screw goes on the ETS150) on all of the pads have been made larger and there are four of them instead of three.

On the hard pad for the Rotex this is quite a difference compared to the old pad.

The overall shape of the hard pads for the Rotex 150 and ETS 150 have been redesigned.
