Looks like we have quite a good crew coming.

So the menu will be American style Burgers, Hotdogs, chili for chili dogs, vary bits chips etc, plus I'll break out the snow cone machine to. Hopefully it's a nice warm day.

As we know this isn't a festool event but Phil will be coming and he'll bring any bit of kit that you guys may want to fondle and play with or instruction on.

Plus as you guys know anything else ya want to bring and show us , doesn't have to be festool please bring it. That's what we want see some kool things share knowledge and just hang out chat socialise  build a community.  I think we had a good start the last one and got to know some of youse.

Don't know if I would have been allowed to come along but would love to have brought up my collection of big Protool 'sawdust makers'. the 14" portable planer is something everyone should try at least once. And the portable bandsaw is a very rewarding shape maker.

However I will be attempting to get to somewhere in Germany on a moped again. A 1200 mile round trip on a 53 year old Lambretta.

Maybe next time? (and I'll bring my own veggie-burger)

Not my event obviously, but I did chat with Ron about a few things when he was setting up the first one, and it's certainly not that dealers aren't welcome, it's just that I think collectively there was a desire not to turn a friendly gathering of like-minded individuals into a sales platform.

If you want to attend as a like-minded individual, I'm sure you'd be welcomed with open arms. Maybe next year?

I believe Phi's there on his own time not as an employee of Festool. From what I understand, he just can't resist the food!  [big grin]

  This is 100% Rons  [thumbs up] event and I go to support Ron. Festool UK do not help in anyway and I attend as I can bring any of the range that those who are attending would like to see - including the bigger range machines - so long as they fit in the back of my Citroen  [unsure].
  I am the Technical Trainer for the UK so if I can help out in any way on the day then let me know......I am also 'trade' so events like this are good for my soul  [blink].....

  Running over the weekend in Suffolk......a real cool weekend of anything timber so if you can make it I can guarantee a pleasant experience - and yup I can be found there on the Sunday catching with some buddies  [smile]

Like the sound of that I've seen the conturo a few times but not used it yet.
