Kapex laser alignment

My lasers are not set exactly like your  guys. Cuts coming up a 32nd short, but its probably a blessing as now I will learn to master it. It's basically taking a little on one side o f the cut and a little on the other. The lasers don't touch the teeth like you guys are talking about, but should be an easy fix.

Does the Kapex come with an Allen key? I found one where the delivery was and I tore open the box. Is it of the lasers?

Overall still just scratching the surface, but its a quantum leap from where I was. Got my old wings reconfigured and calibrated. Ready to start working with this thing. Next step for me this year is building a cart for the Lil Makita for in the shop. Gonna be my version of a popular design with foldable wings. Eric

The laser alignment hex key is often loose in the box.  It does not have a place on the saw for storage.  Sometimes it can work its way under the foam packing.

I have unpacked a few Kapex and the allen wrench for the lasers was stabbed in the styrofoam just in front of the saw.

Nice, I actually had lasers on my old Dewalt, never used them though. Looking forward to trying something new. I did just spend a ridiculous amount of money on two miter saws in two weeks, but I'm probably good for the next decade on the tool I use most. My wife would never see it that way....Eric

basically I adapt my cutting to how the saw came calibrated from the factory - everything works if you are consistent
