Has anyone pointed out that the cutting depth is 120mm (4 11/16") for a flat board? And, as previously noted crown that is 168mm tall can be cut against the fence. That's almost 6 5/8".

Actually, I am quite amazed. If you take a close look at the pic of the kapex cutting notches, isn't that the most amazing thing you have ever seen. i am still trying tto figure out if they are trying to show the flexibility of the saw, or the blade. Look close and explain how they do that. I would buy a blade that could do that in a minute.
If true, this means that you can see exactly where the blade will hit the board on both the top and front. More importantly, it means that you can see the both the miter AND the bevel. You can mark a miter and/or a bevel on the board and see if it's correct BEFORE you cut!
