I think its gonna be the lax200 for be and i might just make my own wall bracket just need a flat bit of metal to stick the lax200 to.
Cheers again.

joiner1970 said:JMB, it does have the lock function and Hilti are supposed to be the best for warranty work but still I think im edging towards the Stabila lax200.
PS Yeah I use the detectors quiet a lot if im setting out datums in a new build the floor area can be huge we set out datums to put our door linings in then the screeders screed the floor afterwards. I suppose if im doing that I would normally use the subbys laser anyway, mine would be more for small things like kitchens , bookcases etc.

joiner1970 said:Guy, I had spotted the Bosch but wanted to get a laser from a company that specialize in levelling tools rather than a tool company thats what put me off the Dewalt.
Chelseaboy, I did see the Stabila but it was coming up dearer than that site you have linked to I already have a Stabila laser but its just a spot one and doesnt self level but I know Stabila are good. For GBP 50 less though the Leica is looking good.
joiner1970 said:I went for the Stabila in the end ordered it today from tool trolley.
Chelsea, I tried to get hold of you twice before ordering but you don't seem to look at your PM's [wink] just wanted to ask a few questions but I have gone for it and ordered the Stabila.
The way I look at it Stabila only do leveling equipment and their levels are THE level to have where as Hilti do all different things.
