lr32 baseplate won't slide on rail

Just getting around to using my lr32 system for the first time and have found that the baseplate doesn't slide at all along the track.  The two guide rail adjusters are so tight, I have to lift the front edge of the baseplate to move it when using it.  This is very inconvenient and very inefficient.  The adjustment screws on the plastic rail guides are all the way out, putting no pressure on the plastic adjusters at all.

Is there anyway, short of a lot of sanding those plastic guide pieces, to make any adjustments to the plastic guides?

Thanks in advance.

Since you say you have the adjusters all the way out, I would give Festool a call in the morning.  Sounds like it could be a warranty replacement issue.

Are you using the lever to release the pin from the rail when you try to move it?

I had to get 2 new plastic inserts for my LR32, on one the screw would not turn at all and the other was stripped.  I requested 2 new ones from my dealer and while waiting for them, I sanded them to fit my rail, worked GREAT.  I can understand the one that was so tight but I can't understand the one that was stripped (pretty sure it came that way, i didn't do it).  Whoever put them in at the factory is one strong Gorilla.

I also considered making new ones myself on the mill  but the dealer got me 2 new ones instead.  Now it works great.

Yeah, I've been pushing down on the release pin.  It has problems sliding between holes too.

I was wondering if that's what I had to do, that or replace the plastic inserts as mikeyr mentioned.  The system works great otherwise.  Thanks for the tips everyone.

After reading this post, I checked out my Lr 32. It was new for Christmas. Fortunately I was able to adjust it to my holey rail. Thanks for the heads up.
