Anyone here run across a bushing that is 3/4" ID and 20mm OD? I would like to get the centipede no slip dogs but they are 3/4" only so would be sloppy sitting in my MFT top holes.

Thanks
Jack

I had thought about trying an automotive speedi sleeve for exactly this but haven't done it.  The bushing would need a wall thickness of only 0.010" and I can't think of a bushing that would be so thin walled.  There is a 99076 speedi sleeve on page 8 of this catalog  by SKF that has a wall thickness of 0.011" to fit a nominal 0.75" shaft that may possibly work, but it may just be a tad too thick.

Heat shrink wrap for electric cables? Centipede no slip dogs are plastic anyway.

Thanks guys. I am going to look into the 99076 sleeves. The others are options as well. Thanks again.

Thanks for that info [member=59951]Dick Mahany[/member] , That's exactly what I need for a motorcycle trailer that I just rebuilt and the wheel seal surfaces  became damaged from 40 years of outdoor storage. 🙏

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] you are welcome.  I have used many of those over the years rebuilding Landcruiser transfer cases and axles.  They do the job perfectly and all of those annoying leaks will be gone.  Best of all they're a breeze to install.  Good luck.

Peter,

I was looking for a way to use the Centipede No Slip dogs that are 3/4" in my 20mm custom MFT top.

Dave Stanton rates him very high .

Why not just buy the proper bench dogs the guy sells? He has some interesting stuff he prints for an MFT table. Thanks for sharing.
