You need to compare the cuts you get from these other saws, with the festool you can apply finishing tapes directly to the saw cut with the others you generally need to plane and sand before doingthis.  The festool saws have a least 3 bearing on there drive shaft,there is no side ways movement in there saw blades, I can't say that for the Makita.

the case looks to be 4 bucks on sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am going to call and check dimension and price i might order a ton, bring supper order to the shop ;D

I hope the labels come with cases stuck to them  ;D  cause I'll order a 1/2 ton of them since that's all that will be left after you get your ton ordered.
