All finished! Great plans and fantastic email support from Tim! I'd recommend anyone with Festool kit having a go at this. Already been very useful.

Few notes:
*In UK case lock called toggle latch. Had trouble locating see above. But now found everywhere. Ended up buying from CPC:
http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?SKU=FN02183 (£2.50 for 5 and free delivery!). Screwfix also do them have recently noticed. Must remember to take rip-off B&Q ones back!
*I skipped compatibility with classic Systainer - just ran out of time and felt would generally been on top of new drills which are t-loc
*I didn't use templates - which saves time but would of course be more hassle if built another!
*I used all scrap and rushed it so doesn't look wonderful but perfectly utilitarian
*Imagined it would be hard to get it to fit snugly with bottom T-loc - but not so - Tim's directions spot on. A few extra pics to help cutting the pieces that fit in bottom systainer would be helpful - it's obvious after you've done it - but front pieces are mirrored!
*Careful screwing through little circular latch for T-loc - split the wood (walnut) first go even with large pilot holes. Used a drum sander attachment on pillar drill at 20 degrees to refine this latch after cutting initially on bandsaw. This took a bit of time
*Wasn't clear on orientation of corner blocks of pine from instructions - but doesn't really matter. Length different when butted together
*Would be quite handy for instructions to point out what's vital, what's useful and what is purely aesthetic.
One day Tim - I'll build the big MFTC-Eng!
