Before Peter's UJK Parf Fence hit the market I brought some 1575 aluminum from Faztek with goal of creating a fence. 1575, is the same profile as the 15-series but 1/2 the height, so 1.5" by 0.75".
I finally got around to turn it into a fence this weekend. I just needed to 3D print a few headless bench dogs. I'm really happy how it turned out, and only costs ~$16 for the extrusion (plus shipping). I used it this weekend as a backstop for some domino cuts.
I'm also planning to put a strip of 1/2" MDF on top so I can also use them as a sacrificial support for large cuts. (Thanks [member=69167]RMW[/member] for that idea
