An MFT/3 top measures approximately 720mm x 1100mm x 18mm, yet an MFT/3 (or 2) can make a top 902mm wide and up to 2440mm long on 25mm board with a really accurate 90* grid pattern and without a CNC.
The photo shows an MFT style top 902mm x 1030mm x 25mm. Made with an MFT/3 (or 2) with a 1400 guide rail and 3 guide rail stops, OF1010 and a 20mm bit, it took less than 10 minutes to rout the 12 holes in the 4 rows of 3 dead straight lines all at 90*.
Really accurate 90* cut on a 16" board when tried with a track saw, guide rail and 3 bench dogs to form the 90*. If the daddy MFT is precise its offspring will be too...
