Multi Tools with Festool 36L Vacumn

Hello Everyone,  I have the 36L Dust Extractor and use it for a 10" Table saw and a Festool Sander.  Gets anoying to continually swap hoses depending on what tool I use. I do have the Y Fitting but find that I loose a lot of suction if I use the Y with both connected.

Is the a method for using the Y and cutting off the suction to the tool not in use?

Festool makes a Y” fitting 452898 as well as blast gates 497926. Hope this is what you are looking for

  Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

  You should be able to find blast gates that fit (maybe with some modification) the Festool 'Y' and hose.  If you add blast gates be sure to put  a jumper wire from the hose to the 'Y' in order to continue the AS unless using the Festool gates.
