I like how it doesn't have some huge DC power cord/power brick like the Mirka sanders.

Mirka has worked over their sanders and have introduced the Deros line - no more huge brick, awkward umbillical cord and dust nozzle. The Deros is very small, the Festool hose fits properly and the sander is very quiet. It is even lighter than the new Festool and works like a charm, you can switch pads from 125 150mm. I have it.
I tried out the new Festool sander today (150/5) and if I hadn't gotten the Mirka Deros already I would have bought the new Festool. Good grip and better placed on/off switch than Mirka and better speed control. Mirka Deros is cheaper and works great with more paper varieties than Festool but for build and size I think the new Festool sanders are great machines! [smile]
