new festool owner

hi all. new on here.

just bought myself a ts55 and recently a ctl midi extractor. probably the planer next up as my current bosch planer is a wee bit knackered now and doesnt adjust properly anymore.

cant wait to get to work with the ts55 like.. i was on a site recently and the kitchen fitter had all festool gear. routers, sanders, jigsaw and his ts55 which i had to have when id seen how easy it made life fitting kitchens. much better when cutting worktops to size and having to clamp straight edges on to use a circ saw.

i got the kit that included 2x 1.4m guide rails. just gotta get it set up and go now.

Check out ripdogs.com.  They work great!  I think they are easier to use than the standard MFT rail setup.  I have been amazed at the accuracy.
