New to woodworking

I am new to Festool and if truth be known, new to woodworking also- just a hobby.  I am fairly handy but I have a lot to learn.  I have jumped in deep with Festool router, track saw, mft, domino, dust collector, carvex.  I have also purchased a dovetail jig, pocket hole jig and assorted other smaller items.  To date, I have built cabinets for my shop, cabinets for my daughters garage, rolling cabinets for my shop, assembly table, coffee table, bookcase and writing desk.  Needless to say I am hooked.

I need to build some type of tv entertainment center--moveable-- for 2 of my children's apartments. I just need to set the tv on top and have a few shelves for dvd, stereo, cable box etc.  I need some ideas that are simple but attractive .  any suggestions would be helpful.

First, welcome to FOG.  You got the green and dark blue bug bad!  Congrats on the projects to date.

A couple of thoughts -

- Check out Houzz.com for lots of inspirational examples.  
- Same with Roomandboard.com for more contemporary and simple to build ideas
- Search on FOG for 'Entertainment' and you'll find a ton of examples of work from members here, from simple to complex.

Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

Try the following to post pictures.

1. Open a topic starting page or reply page.

2. Click 'Additional Options' towards the lower left.

3. Next to the 'Browse' button keep clicking 'more attachments' until you have enough.

4. Click 'Browse' and open/add an image file from your computer to each browse box.

5. Type your post. At points in the post where you want an image, click 'attach image as full size' from the Insert Inline Image dropdown.  Doing that will place the image in that spot in the post when you actually make the post. Do this for each spot that you want an image. The system will place them in the order of the browse boxes automatically. If you want to choose the order simply change '#' to the number (just count the boxes) of the image you want in that spot. Otherwise just leave '#' in each one.

Welcome to the FOG.  You got a great collection of tools and your projects have come out looking great...I really like the writing desk -- very nice!  Thanks for posting and looking forward to reading more.
