I added my Festool collection to my signature so you can see what I already have. I want to get some new Festools and thought about getting another dust extractor as a combo with a sander. I would probably hook the DC up to my Kapex, but do the mini and midi except the 36mm hose? Also after much consideration I have decided to build my own Kapex work station/sysport instead of spending the insanely amount of $$$$ for the Kapex UG cart w/extensions or the MFT w/extensions and a couple of sysports. Sorry didn't mean to grip, but the accessories are ridiculously expensive  [mad]

Anyway, I hope to make my mind up on some new tools today so I can get them ordered! I just got a RO150 almost a month ago and haven't used it too much (about 10min) I wish I would have bought an ETS150, RAS115, and LS130 instead. I also bought a CXS and wish there were centrotec sets still available. The fact that I would have to buy all the accessories separate is keeping me from buying a T15+3, I will just have to keep using my Dewalt 18v drill/impact set  [mad].

So, back to my original question about the hose connection and tool suggestions??

The Mini and Midi accept the 36mm hose, just not as convenient to insert as on the bigger CT's

I've got a RO150 and two ETS150's (3 and 5) - but will also be getting RAS115 and LS130. They're different tools - nothing wrong with the RO150 when used for the right purpose.

You should be able to get a centrotec set from O/S if you shop about, but you'll also probably pay a premium over local ...

I will probably end up with most of the sanders. I hope Festool does another centrotec set in the future.

Nice collection. :) I was just thinking today that a mini/midi might be nice for inside of a house while the CT26 stays outside on jobs where I need to do a little clean up or use the Domino 500 etc. After hefting the CT26 in and out a few times today in the heat  [mad]

Good to know it takes the larger hose, I have the tradesman cleaning kit also.  [thumbs up]

This heat is terrible, we've been over 100 for the past few days! Thankfully my job is indoors, but all my outdoor projects are on hold till it cools off. If I get a midi I'll have to get another 36mm hose to hook up to the Kapex because I have my 36mm hose on my boom arm.

We had that wind storm that took out 5 trees and power from Friday night to Tuesday night. Spent those days outside cutting trees just to continue the rest of the week outside. Im to busy to push outside work off until it cools off  [mad]
