Didn't you hear, Festool is giving them away all next week, all you have to ask. Sorry, I couldn't resist. They haven't even been released in Europe yet so we obviously don't have any idea if or when they will make it to the US.

There's a new Rotex Ro 90 DX FEQ-Plus coming out. Available from may 2010 in Europe, so that'll be like may 2020 in America.

Ah, ok, though it was a done deal in the us.  Sorry that means it will be like 10 years till UL approves it it they do, I won't hold my breath.

I assume that this is a Rotex with a 9 centimetre diameter pad.  

I asked for such a machine five years ago and I would definately buy one of those (if priced in line with the existing Rotex sanders).    

At the time I also asked for the option of a smaller pad on the Deltex.  Maybe some day we will seee that too.
