"No Comment #2" - Full project build in one video :)

Thanks! Sorry about the night's sleep :)

I wanted to put the Kapex on that flip-top table... wouldn't you know it, it's 1/2" too narrow to hold it and pivot.  Need to pull the box out and see how I can fix that; I like the flip-top too much to toss it.  The Makita was a good SCMS although I could never stop it from spewing dust no matter the mod I'd do to the capture shoot.

Sweden has been all over that video; someone posted on a forum named byggahus.se and it has gone nuts.  I tried registering to post a reply to a question in the thread (I assumed I'd be excused for a brief reply in English :)) but the random question was broken as it even said "Random question #3 not found" in English on the Swedish registration form :)  Here's the thread if you are curious as it has started talking about the 'system'.  ...and no I don't read Swedish, but Google does :)

Paul

Great video as usual, you are a magician with your editing on this one.  Great project as well.  Not sure the official name, but really liked the wet bandsaw you used.

Thanks, Bryan!  The wet bandsaw is a Gryphon; we'll go over it a bit at that part of the build.

I never get tired of saying what an amazing individual you are Paul!  Utterly AMAZING!  [thumbs up]  [not worthy]

(We'll have a new toy for you to play with soon).

Well Paul, you got me to watch.  When I started the video and saw the time I thought, "I'm not gonna sit here for an hour and watch some hack from Chandler build something in his garage." ;)
I think I was most impressed by your film editing and diligence with the whole project.  BTW, I've had one of those Ridgid Sanders for years and while I don't use it that often, when I do it works great.  I just picked up a Jet oscillating edge sander and haven't had a chance to set it up yet but when I do I think I'll still hang on to the Ridgid.

Thanks, guys.  heh heh, I got a guy from Gilbert to watch  [big grin]  I'm the same as you with that Ridgid sander; don't always use it but when I do it's perfect for the job.

I'm going to go sit by the door to see what's coming, Ron!

Paul,

Awesome videos, all of them!

I recently discovered festool and it seems the buy in is $4500 +/-. I watched all your videos for each tool Before I bought the first piece of green and blue.

I just wanted to Thank you for the great work on the videos.

Is there a donate button somewhere on the blog?

Welcome to the forum Lee!

What few people outside of Phoenix (or Mexico) know is that Paul Marcel St-Onge is the intended sole heir of the Carlos Slim Helu fortune.  Paul only holds his day job and three (3) part-time evening jobs to fill his idle time.    [blink][big grin]

Ron, that was our secret :)

Lately it feels like 3 evening jobs and that's how I missed your nice comments, Lee!  And welcome to the forum... your credit-card agony has begun :)

I don't have a donate button on the blog; I can imagine some emails/comments I'd get for putting one there when I've dumped money with reckless abandon into tools.  Only recently considered the idea when I saw some heavily sponsored bloggers do a gofundme for all new video equipment... heh heh, raising the bar :)

That you asked is super cool, thanks!
