of 2200 set up

Just got the OF 2200.  The depth set up instructions in the manual are not all that great and do not seem to exactly fit the model I have.  Is there better instructions some where?

go to you tube and google of2200 set up etc and up comes tons of videos on how to this how to that etc.

Congrats on the new router -- this is perhaps the best hand-held power tool on the market (IMHO).  A real dream to use.  There should be lots of help online, but can you elaborate a little more on what you need help with?  Is it just working the depth and zeroing out the bit?  Is it understanding the 2mm offset function with the little lever that swings out of the way?  Something with the micro-adjustment?

I go to my local dealer when I have issues. They are factory trained by Steve and use the tools professionally on the side also. Most festool dealers can put you in contact with a factory rep who will help you also.

One thng I can say about festool. Though pricey, are very well supported by both the dealers (except the 2 national chains) and the manufacturer.

Congratulations - Father Christmas was very generous!

The US Supplimental manuals, written by Rick, are brilliant - Chris Rosenberger is spot on.

Make sure you have the 36mm hose as it really does improve dust collection.
