I noticed the white insert on the plug-it in someone else's RO90 pics yesterday. Weird...

It's the 18 gauge cable.  The 16 gauge Plug-It end is black and lacks the extra tit that the white one has.

[smile]

Maybe they have started to color code them, but in the past they were all black.

That was my first thought, but I remembered a post where someone showed the two types, and they were both black.

Maybe Brice is right and they've started to colour code them.

Jonny Round Boy,
No..No.. these are the very special, highly sought after, Available only in North America Plug-It cords!

We have a new supplier for Plug-It cables. That's the reason for the change in color. Nothing more, nothing less. Still functions exactly the same.

A ha.  Such a simplistic answer.  Y'all are keeping us addicts loyal owners on our toes!

It just jumped out at me as I was fondling hugging   testing my new arrival.

I've become a Festool believer / addict and read the FOG comments almost daily as my collection of Festool grows.  With all the BUZZ about the RO90 going on for quite awhile, and with the very healthy sales volume in the USA, how is it possible that the good folks at Festool couldn't figure out that there was going to be a BIG demand for the new RO90 AND the most commonly used grits of paper???????????? ???

Hey!  Here's another FOG-ronym - NAONA (Not Available Outside North America)

[big grin]

Google images for NAINA are much better than those for NAONA.

Sound like some poor planing to have all these sanders and NOT the paper!!!

Plus we need the paper available in smaller quantity then 100. If you bought 5 grits in both the round and the delta you would spend almost the price if the sander just on paper. And for the weekend woodworker that would last a LIFETIME. It would be a 1000 sheets of paper.

Why is the paper not available in packs of 25????????????????
