our flicker slide show

Lots of inspiration for me in those pics, Per.

Really excellent work.  Keep 'em coming.

Neil

Good Morning,
Hey Per, I just created an album for you in the Gallery.  That should make it easier for FOG members to access your photos.
If you want to see it, just click here!
Matthew

PS: Neil, I again tried to sweep my screen when I saw your avatar!

Great looking bar and woodwork Per, I remember a previous thread where you showed all the guide rails strung together to route the front edge of the bar top. BTW who is your pretty helper? ;)

I don't mean you dad either. ;D

Truely a masterpiece.  A signed piece of art.

What page in the festool catalog can you purchase the auto saw feature?

That was an awesome project and is a beautiful bar. I've seen bits and pieces here and there, thanks for putting it all together in one place.

I'll ask again, where is it?

Michael,

The one with the elk is in Livingston NJ

The 24 foot bar is in Mountainside NJ

There are a few others in undisclosed secret locations.

That's because North Joisy and Stat-nen  Island share

old family traditions. ;D

Per,

You're awe-shucks comebacks ain't makin' it any more.  You've forgotten more about woodworking that most people here ever learned.  Remember, I met you in Las Vegas!   ;D

And, in case Per hasn't mentioned it (or I missed it here), Per showed us is nice trick at Festool Las Vegas...

If you're having trouble lineing up a long guide rail for a cut, just line up one end, slap your TS on top of the rail at that end, and then line up the other end!  WAY fast and easy!

Dan.

Dan,

You really give me more credit then I deserve. So thanks.

But ja see,

I have yet to make a barstool.

And besides, the day I become pretentious, is the day I stop doing the next right thing.

We just can't have that.

Per

Chuck,

I may have been unlucky in a few things in life.

But somehow I ended up with three amazingly well adjusted and successful children.

She is one of them.

Per

Perr,
You and your family do b eatiful work.  Did you make the inlays in the bar and behind the bar?

Don,

Thank you, we make everything but the brass.

Between you and me, well everybody else who reads this.

We design em and we are sorta kinda like the soup fella on Seinfeld.

Ok. Worse. In a nice way.

All right , on a project like this we let them have a committee.

They then feel important.

Then, we just keep working.

Its hilarious to witness, say over a span of a few months.

Per

After I met Per in Las Vegas and called him "Per" like Perfect about 15 times, he informed me that it's pronounced "Pear" (or very close).  I of course shrank down in the size to something smaller than Neds Toy (teacup?) Poodle and apologized profusely.

So when you read his posts, think "Pear"!  OK, altogether now with a group hug... "Peeeeeaaaarrrrr".  Got it?!?  Good!

Dan,
When out to dinner months ago, he correct my pronunciation at that time. But when I read Per, I read it as purr. I really think it is his job to change his pronunciation.

But as to his and Bob's woodworking talents, no contest.

Per,
That is one powerful side show. Nicely done. Now, how can you translate that into new jobs? Can you use DVD's and send to prospects?

Thanks John,

Great idea. Never crossed my mind as a mercenary aid.

Speaking of Dinner, Get a load of this folks.

John,

Hmmm...  Well I said "Purrr" and he said "Pear".

Per,

So what is the correct pronunciation of "Per". Mine?  Johns?  Other?  Come on, out with it!

Dan.
