Did you buy a Kreg Work Center? Need to find a home for the bushing and screw to attach a piece of 2x material as a sacrificial board for the top of it when you're not using them?

Take out the X pieces that they include to connect two tables together. Flip them upside down. Put the screw in the bushing the wrong way and insert it into the bottom of the X. Nice snug fit on mine and I'll never lose the bushings.

I don't get it.  I don't seen any significant advantage to the Kreg Mobile Project Center over a lot of other mobile work benches like this.

I looked at one at Woodcraft Seattle a couple of weeks ago.  Decent product, but I kept thinking, "Why?".  Why is it any better than other mobile workbenches like those from Black & Decker and Keter?

Regards,

Dan.

P.s. I like Kreg products.  I have a Kreg Jig K5 Master System, Kreg router fence, Kreg setup bars, and several others.  Excellent products.

I have two of the Kreg Mobile Project Centers and think they are incredible. One by itself is nothing to write home about. Its when you combine 2 or more that you really see the benefit. Its their versatility (along with the clamps) that makes them so great. They can very easily be set up in so many different configurations. I brought them out to a jobsite when I first bought them about 6 weeks ago. There are about 30 guys working on this site everyday and they all beg to use the Kreg tables. I keep mine set up as a cutting platform most of the time, but I do switch it around depending on what I'm doing. I'm thinking about picking up 3 more. Two to use as a different type of platform and one to make a jobsite router table out of it. I just happen to have a piece of Phenolic laying around and its just a matter of figuring out the execution. There are some youtube videos that show the different ways you can set them up. IMO, the Keter is a toy compared to the Kreg. Just my opinion of course...

How tall are they from ground/floor to work surface?  Can they be used in conjunction with MFT/3 without doing anything additional to the legs?

Thanks

IIRC, the table surface without adding anything to it is just under 32" above the floor. We have mine set up with 12 foot 2x6's and the height of our 144"x 31" cutting platform is about 35 1/2" above the floor. There are lots of ways you can set it up so you can fool around with the height by being creative. I think the range built into the bracket system is about 2-1/2 inches. I could be wrong...

As to the MFT, I'm no fan of the MFT, so I couldn't help you with that.

Kreg is about 4 inches shorter than the MFT/3

Thanks to both of you!  Always on the lookout for work surfaces that match the MFT/3s.  Thanks, again.

Mine like a bunch of others came like this or damaged in shipping.  Makes one wonder just how tough the plastic is?  The table's edge when folded is so close if not touching the support bar.

The vendor refunded $20 cash which was better than having to ship it back.  I super glued the piece back on but don't know how long it'll last?

Yea no thanks. Think youd be better off with a more tried, true and less plastic Black N Decker Workmate WM1000 if you wanted/needed this type of "workbench".https://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-WM1000-Workmate-Workbench/dp/B00D5MWXRS
Wow, B&D got fancy with the graphics on the Workmate.  Makes my '90s Workmate look plain and dull compared to it... [doh]
But, mine still works just as well as it did when I first bought it.
