Question about the PDC18

I just got the PDC18 and noticed that on either end of the torque setting, there is a drill setting.  Do they both put the tool in drilling mode or is there a difference between the modes?  Why the two drill settings?

I don't know the answer to the first setting, but the answer for the second one is easy; ease of use.

Yeah, both drill modes are the same. Just easier to have at both ends I guess, rather than going all the way back and forth if you’re going between drill mode and one extreme ends of the torque settings.

Thank you for the reply.  I figured that's what was intended, but couldn't find anything in the documentation or any explanation online.
