The saw has this problem. I can't block the deep of saw. could you help me with a photo please? I want to remake with a 3d printer because festool italia has not this part for replacement.

Hi I was hopeing some one else would reply because that part on mine is broken and has been for 10 years.I loaned the saw out and it came back jammed. I took it apart and removed the broken part and it has worked fine since then. I took the saw apart today and took pictures of the part. I also am including a drawing of what I believe is the whole piece with dimensions.I hope it helps. Don

Unfortunately, that part is no longer available  [sad] I then considered swapping out the part for the AT 55 part but that is also no longer available. The part number is 439919 and it is used in both the AT 55 & AT 65 saws. Here's a small photo of it and maybe someone out there is capable of producing a 3D sample of it.

The Festool Spare Parts catalog (EKAT) shows that part #14 is no longer available.

The part number happens to be 439919, but it is no longer available to order from Festool or places like MMToolPartss.
https://www.mmtoolparts.com/festool-stop-439919

That said, with the part number, you may be able to call around to some really long-standing dealers or Festool themselves to see if there are any of these parts still lying around?

I don't know that a 3D replacement would suffice.  Perhaps just some blue tape or another method to block the plunge depth?  Or find a broken saw being sold for parts.

Check your messages.

I believe our only option at this point in the history of the company is to find a broken saw and strip it for parts.  Festool carries parts for 10 years after discontinuing a product, and the AT65 was discontinued in the early 2000's, so easily 15-20 years ago.

Finding parts for a 15-20 year-old discontinued product almost always means aftermarket or a repair house that strips broken tools for parts.

This should be quick to draw in CAD and produce in a durable material.
The images are small on the forum and I can't tell if it's a perfect match for the dimensioned drawing.
Could you send me a higher resolution of all files?
I can ship to Italy.

Here is a quick sketch.
Not sure that this is exactly correct, there may be some missing dimensions on the initial drawing and the teeth don't quite line up correctly spaced at 1.25...

If anyone wants to take a look and provide feedback I am happy to update the model.

If anyone needs one of these (assuming the model is correct), I am happy to run a few on one of our industrial 3D printers out of Nylon12. This should offer similar detail and durability compared to the factory part.

The tooth pitch should match the pitch of the rack (that is used to set the cutting depth) so the pitch should be 1mm.
