For Christmas i bought a TS55/Rail combo :

But since when i have to do a cut, i made it on floor....Not really confortable...Last week it was enough and i decided to build something more appropriate to wood cutting/working... The Bench must be rolling due the lack of place in my workshop : 12m²...in fact it is the end of garage in my house basement.
The first step was to study on paper/computer the bench configuration.

The top board is 170x80cm wide and 3cm thickness. The bench mesure 1,00m total height

Since i didn't want to spend lot of money in this project i try to use the more parts i have on hand or that are used ones. It was the case for the wheels, the aluminium pieces i will use to build the cut guide, the screw, electrical parts, MDF top board...For the main body i use floor wood panels.

I finded the bench so usefull that i decided to build on a shelf for my little air compressor (i use it for the nailer) with a air dryer unit

I build a second shelf on the other side to lay in security the TS55 during the cut process/mesuring/marking

The forwards steps will consiting in building more drawer for the other systainers, realising the electric circuit so that i have just to plug on time on wall, building the guide system and festool rail maintaining system, proceeding to more finishing than painting the main body/drawers and varnishing the top board

Hi, i will try to use the extrusion to build un complete cutting guide in the same way on a table saw sliding table but insted the table slide, it's the TS55 who slide along its rail. So with a ruler i can instally apply the right cutting size and also proceed to precise and reproductible cut.
