RS200 - connecting time dust extractor

I just got my RS200 and my CT Midi - the port on the rs200 is oblong but the end of the hose  for the dust extractor is round. Is their an adaptor or do you just squeeze it on to make it fit?

Will that not damage the end? I like how it locks onto my track saw.

As rst indicated, it's supposed to be that way. I think it's an older style of connection. My OF1010 has it too. It always feels a little awkward to connect but it ends up fitting and holding fine and hasn't damaged the hose connector yet.

If your hose is 36mm, you can get an adapter that you can leave on the tool and quickly connec to your hose, but it's pricy.
