Short run of 36mm hose?

I wanted to get a short section of hose to house more or less permanently on the Kapex (b/w 1 and 2m), so I'm not constantly switching over the hose from other tools, or parking the long 36mm hose I do have on the Kapex and tripping over the excess length.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but Festool doesn't make anything shorter than 2.5m, and as far as I can tell, the Bosch 35mm hoses -- which I assume would still fit over the Kapex DE port -- also don't come in shorter lengths.  I can always use adapters to run my shop vac hose -- which is shorter -- b/w the Kapex and the CT, but there again I would have to swap it out whenever I needed to use the shop vac, which is fairly often.  And I suppose I could get a Bosch hose and cut it in half, but my preference is to not buy anything longer than I need.  Any ideas?

Well, maybe Festool doesn't actually offer this. But, some dealers have stepped up to meet the need.  [big grin]

Another UK user here, who would be very interested in a shorter bigger hose than the standard one.
I'm sure it would improve the dust collection while good, could be better.

I turned to Stihl for this "problem", apperantley they have a whole line of vacuum cleaners with custom order hoses.
I could order mine (27mm-36mm-50mm) in any length I wanted, including swiffle couplings at a fraction of the price.
