I'm looking for a source for cheap wooden dowels to fit into (20mm) MFT holes. Any sources?  I want to affix a jig to the MFT by simply fitting the wooden dowels into the MFT table.
Thanks for suggestions.

How about some qwas dogs with a thru hole.  Insert the dog from under the table using a 5/16 t-bolt and knob.

Not sure what type of jig you are trying to make.  But when I get home from work I can snap some pics for you

to better explain what I mean if you like?

I needed the same thing ("cheap" being the operative word for me), and I went to a small machine shop and had him drill a 20mm hole in a 4" x 4" piece of 1/4'-thick mild steel, which I then used for a "dowel pop".

You use it by driving a larger dowel (like 7/8") or a shop-made octagonal stick thru the hole.

If you have an old blade from a TS 55, the arbor hole is 20mm, so it could be used as your dowel pop instead of going to a machinist.

An expedient solution in the U.S. is a 3/4" dowel with a couple of wraps of painter's tape.

I was quite surprised.  Spent some time Googling - seems that 20mm wood dowels
