We all own various tools to do specific jobs. Thinking outside the box will allow you to use the tools in applications that are not always obvious.

Three Domino mortices made the job easier and faster.

That cut is nothing, just a little pin prick. The water makes it look massive.

I treat my own wounds, sutured the tip of my finger back on once, freaked out the home owner.

Great tip Tom. Unfortunately Im not that cleaver to think of cool things like you and most of the guys do here. I just read yours and the other guys ideas and use them.

Wish I was creative... But Im not built that way..

speaking of domino, my son and i made a quick sword for his halloween costume (finn from the 'adventure time' cartoon).  he dropped it twice and each time one of the guards broke off.  two quick domino inserts and he was back to hustling candy in no time.  it did cost him two snickers bars and one pouch of reeses, though--boy's gotta learn them dominos cost good money...

This was pre-medical cyanoacrylate, I now keep that in the truck.
