Tinker said:Wayne,
By now, i am quite convinced yyou had no agreement in writing at the start.
I am just as certain you have NOT gone to an attorney for legal assistance.
i don't know the time limits in your country, but in my state, by ow, i would be well beyond any hope of collection thru small claims court or thru the lein route.
Perhaps it is time to suck up the hard fact you have lost a sum of money, analyse how it happened and forget about collection.
save your energies and get on with your business. Maybe even look into some business courses.
I feel your pain. I think i have told of some of my own experiences, s others have tried to help in the same way.
Many of us have lost out to foolish mistooks in business. The main thing is to not make the same mistooks again.
we have a saying:
Fool me once, Shame on you.
Fool me twice, Shame on me.

Tinker, I had in writing that the job must be payed in full on completion. I HAVE seen a lawyer about the situation but i dont feel that me spending for more time with the lawyer would be wise at it might end up costing me more then I'm owed. The FACT is that he payed some small amounts of cash in the last two months just to keep himself out of trouble and still get under my skin. I will update you guys when I get the full amount, until then i will not be replying to any more questions as I'm trying to keep my cool and having people questioning every single step I made when in comes to paper work or lawyers is starting to get on my nerves to be honest.
Cheers.
