Hi,

Can anyone provide a pic of the systainer with 6" abrasives insert?  Or is there one in the gallery?

   Thanks,

I just bought a systainer 5 without any insert. I put all of the boxes of sandpaper in it. I have over 12 boxes of different types in there

Hmmm, they kind of flop around in there don't they?

Thanks for the pics I was wondering what the layout was like.

Ah, that's just the Vegas garage heat making them all bendy. The thing will hold quite a bit of paper. The Vlies won't go anywhere, for sure.

Good thing I have a portable AC on the way. :)

That's what all those AOL and Yoko Ono CD's are for, to hold up the sandpaper.

AOL CDs! - well the original post was in 2007.  Things change.

But I still do have a stack of blank CDs that will probably never be written.  The problem is that they are just a bit short in diameter - ~120mm rather than 150.

I just got a 6" abrasive systainer and ran the same problem with floppy sanding disks.  I cut some of the sandpaper box fronts/backs to 6x6, then cut a round profile on the bottom so they would fit.  I can label the tops that way, although I already labeled the sides of the insert as well.

Wow, I started this topic almost nine years ago!  Time flies.

How about a picture , Harvey?

Here is the original floppiness on the P1000 in the upper left.

Here it is with a cardboard divider.

This one shows labels.

And finally, here is the shape of the divider.

At one point I was thinking of replacing the systainer insert with two pieces of 6" diameter PVC cut lengthwise, but this seemed to work OK.
