I wanted to thank everyone who posted their versions of Festool storage cabinets. I spent a lot of time going through everyone solutions to figure out the best route for my skill level. With this, I wanted to share the details of my solution in case it is helpful for anyone else looking to get rid of the Festool stacks and have easy access to their tools. I put the Kapex in the middle and can pull out the drawers to add extra support on the sides. It really has been life changing.

The height will depend on your space, but my finished cabinet measurements are 381mm deep x 463mm wide.

Sides cut: 381mm x whatever height you want
Tops & bottoms cut: 381mm x 427mm
Shelves: 402mm x 352mm

Shelf front pull 46mm tall x 425mm - 12 mm dado (thickness of your shelf material) in middle of front and edges routed back (~12mm) to cover drawer slides.
Front pull made from 1x3 poplar ripped to 46mm wide, shelf back lip ripped from poplar cutoff. Shelf glued in front pull channel. Can pull from top or bottom.
Shelf back lip 10mm x 402, glued and nailed in 280 mm back from front lip. This leaves room for your hand to pull out the drawer.
Shelf holes drilled at 16mm on center in rows 37mm, 165mm and 261mm from front lip for Kanpe & Vogt 8405 14” full extension drawer slides.
Benjamin Moore Insl-X Cabinet Coat Satin: paint matched to Festool grey: Y3 Ox 4.1875, S1 Ox 6.0000, B1 Ox 0.1875
