Had some old scraps  of  flat iron  laying round the workshop  so  decided  to make a tenon jig.
This is based  slightly on  the Jet  tenon jig. But also  on  the Matthias Wandel  variant.
Had to buy  some linear ball bearings  which were £16 each  and that was  the greatest  expense  on this little  project.
Will do bevels  up to about 25 degrees  though haven't added an angle function  yet.
The range of travel is  80mm  and has positive stops  for fast repeatability.

The measuring device is digital calipers  and works  well. Which just clamps on  easily  and zero in  at any given point.

I made an attempt  to make the slides  with wood  but racking  was a problem. So it was back to the drawing board. And the linear bearings seemed the best  option which are running on 12mm  stainless  steel bar.
Wasn't sure  how the linear bearings  would  work  but  the table  moves very  precisely  and even.

I like that. How do you square it up to the sliding table when you remove/reinstall it? Is there a reference edge?
