I got a Dremel and I bought the Dremel chain saw sharping kit for it!   I have got a manual sharpening kit because I already own a Chain saw Husqvarna. But the Dremel Is soooooooo much quicker!

Funny way!   Well Monday I gotta go to the builders Merchant to pick some stuff up well only because I would like to know if a large bar would fit on not you ME!  [tongue]  Ill pop next door to Sthil where I got my  Sthil TS 420

UMMM   Well I had not used sthil chain saw before but I had used husqvarna  so thats why I bought husqvarna but not long after I was working for this company who had two husqvarnas and just bought a brand new sthil.  Well I preferred the feel of the sthil and how easy it started started easier than mine but mine start easy.  I was told to look after the new sthil for a while and used it a bit more at home testing it  [tongue].  I think husqvarna is better! but sthil looks better in appearance but that dont mater really.  Oh the company had a larger husqarvna which had quick change!  Its rubbish! Dont bother with it your better off with nuts.  The quick change and quick tighten kept on coming loose! I also hit a small thin cable when cutting this roof I didnt see it and it got stuck in the quick mechanism was a night mare to remove!  I have hit a cable with mine before and its easy just to turn the nuts and remove it.

i use a sthil chain saw but it aint mine. i want my own and a head cuter but will get the sword if a bigger bar fits

Give me 10  Ill remove my bar on my husqvarna see it thats the same cus that has a cutting depth of 350

I was like  [scared] Its going to fit!  As it got closer to the protool I was thing yes yes but the holes are higher up so drill two holes and it will fit!    Im sure you can get one to fit!!!!  The protool has a wider bar than my chain saw!  Oh also it is quite easy to remove to riding knife!  If you look at the pictures the metal riding knife goes under the bar so if you had a longer bar it would be in the way so you could either cut it or! Remove it or easily get one made to suite the bar.  looks like you can easily unscrew it!

well at least we know its a 1.3mm 3/8pitch bar

How do you know that?!  I never bought a bar before so dont know nothing bought them!  all I know is after a while turn them around as they wear out!

the code on the oregon chain which is a good chain and half the price of protool. only turn certain bars around as some only work 1 way

whats confused you? it says on the bag of the oregon chain in your 3rd pic  91vg039  which means its a type 91 chain which is 3/8pitch 1.3mm groove and needs a type 91 bar. your chain is 39links long

I c where you got the info from now!  Ill most likely have a new bar monday! lol if one will fit no problem With a chain to fit ofcorse! Ill most likely never use it BUT knowing when I come on a job I do I know I have one ready to use no problem!!!

I was being stupid!  I never looked at the bag! I just ripped it open and fitted the chain!  The Oregen one is the one which comes with chain saw and the Protool one is the one he gave to me for free.  Well when I was at the NEC thats the one I picked!  Making me think now!  Seems odd protool does not put a protool chain in.  Do you think he put the oregen chain isntead?! and the Protool is the one which comes with the Protool so I should of had to protool chains?!?!

he will have taken the protool chains to "give away" and put oregon chains in there place i think. They a suposed to be good chains i think. only £8.75inc
