Thinking of machining my own version -- anyone out there know the thickness of the plexiglass used on the official version?

The Plexiglass is 12mm thick. Some nice person drew and posted these detailed plans for the whole thing. I looked into buying enough Plexiglass for this, and the cost of the material convinced me that buying the finished product wasn't that bad of a deal (at least at the price I paid for a slightly used one). YMMV.
