This is an interesting set up and would compliment my Dashboard system. However, it's NAINA so what's the best way of importing one? Would an EU dealer be able to ship one here?

Shipping anything across the Atlantic is usually pretty expensive. Most dealers won't ship to the USA and if you buy through a private citizen (that then forwards it) he/she won't be able to deduct the VAT that the store can deduct if shipping for export. VAT differs by country, but for Germany it's 19% at this moment.

And you will end with a 230V model. Seems even the Brits don't have a 110V version. It probably won't care about the 60 Hz. But in the Uof 120VSA it won't as easily portable to a random house to use there.

yeah, unfortunately, it will probably never make it over here since they don't want it to cannibalize SS sales in the US. The 220 aspect would be fine.

Shipping is the killer...I just purchased an item for 75€ from Germany and was charged 82€ to ship the 1 kg item.  [crying]

I remember the good old days when we could get the MFS and other accessories shipped here for ridiculously low prices

Let me know if you need any help with locating an EU dealer willing to go the extra mile and sell/ship to the US.

Please tell me that this is for some form of expedited shipping via a carrier like UPS/FedEx/DHL Express. If you paid that for a regular parcel they took advantage of you/ overcharged you quite a bit. (Unless there was special packaging involved or shipping calculated based on volumetric weight or they wanted a little extra for that bit of “paperwork”, but then it would have been nice to clearly separate that from shipping cost.)

Kind regards,
Oliver
