Ken,

You are wrong.  Sorry, this is probably the first for you.  Welcome to my world  [big grin] [big grin] [big grin].

Peter

So, then those must be two zeros on your FEST00L license plates.   [tongue]

You should wait until AFTER you get your prize to make comments like that.  Shane might email you for the next several years that your CXS is on backorder.  [blink]

Oh sure, now you tell me.   [unsure]

While I don't have a Festool license plate, I do have the office in my house painted a shade very close to Festool green and have framed prints of our products on the walls. As if it wasn't already obvious that I bleed green...

Funny memory that I'll share. So, I fly up to Indy to meet Christian for my job interview back in '07. Get to a temporary office that was set up while the new HQ building was being built. After the interview, Christian asks if I want to go check out the new building and I say yes. We walk outside and I realize that he doesn't have a car and we're going to take the sub-sub-sub-subcompact that I rented. He got in and his head was against the roof of the car and his knees were under his armpits. I thought to myself... doh, that's not good. But, I got the job and here I am. Fortunately, Christian has a great sense of humor.

I got the funniest picture in my head from that. [big grin]

Maybe you should have got one with a sun roof.

That is awesome!!!!
A license plate that is bigger than the car itself.  ;D

Mine is all white.
I would love to do a wrap (or even pinstriping and logos), but I don't think the wife will go for it.
Too much $$$$.

that is neat and all but, I really don't like advertising for thieves.

I almost don't like having my company name and phone number on my truck.

I have nothing on my trailer and I am keeping it that way.

Maybe I should get some Ryobi plates, that should deter most thieves. [big grin]

I don't disagree with that.  However, I am VERY careful to make sure I don't leave anything in my truck.
Besides, my Festools are for furniture building, so they usually don't leave my shop anyway.

I almost hesitate to add that you could buy 2 Festool door mats and cut them as floor mats for your truck.  Really, though, I hesitate :)

I don't know......  something just seems wrong about treading upon and wiping feet on the name  [scared]

aside from tags on bumpers, i gotta say that i never had a problem from my wife after i put the festool sticker from my MFT/3 table on the windshield of my audi TT.  She hated that car until it was realized that Festool paid for it, the house, and 2 university educations.

Sal!  [thumbs up] [thumbs up] [thumbs up] [thumbs up]!

I can see it in my mind now.  A National FOG get together and a stable of vehicles with Festool plates.  PRICELESS!

Peter

So... If I wrapped my car in a Festool theme and began handing out Festool catalogs in NYC do you think I could get a kapex?  [big grin] [wink] [cool]

Well I added to the collection, so now I have the Virginia plates for both Festool and for my smaller truck:
